OUT TONIGHT // Hubs is taking me to see @vanessacarltonactual. Many years ago we listened to her song 1,000 Miles on repeat as we wiped tears and swallowed fears. We were driving halfway across the country to move me and my car full of stuff to Texas for grad school. We didn’t know if our relationship could survive all those miles.

It didn’t.

But four and half years later we reconnected and not long after that we walked down the aisle to her song Home, because we always felt home in one another’s love.

Tonight she’s here in LA. So many miles from where all of that happened and in a place we never even thought we’d live. But today we are more in love than ever. Can’t wait to listen and wipe away happy tears together this time.
