MORNING AFTER // My favorite nights are the ones you wake from still smiling. Last night I was able to connect with my Grandpop (my favorite person to ever walk the planet, a person who showed me unwavering, unconditional love), to bring up and clarify some fears that have been plaguing me lately about traveling back to New York, to hear the most beautiful and uplifting sound of a koshi chime (look it up!), and to be in sisterhood with some local kindred spirits.
As a mom to two littles with a husband who has a crazy work schedule (AND is in law school), I don’t get to BE with other women face to face as much as my heart craves. Just that being was medicine for me.
@melissa.parke.rousseau Thank you for creating such a powerful, restful space and sharing it. You are beauty and light.
@lafemmejakita You! Are power and peace. Thank you for perfectly guiding me into my connection with my grandfather.
@corbettjulia A million rays of sunshine. Thank you for that magical mixture of herbs and the sweet, shifting medicine of cacao.
Everyone else, thank you for making it all sacred and the few hours of perfect connection.
And @mindfulmedicinals I want your mug! ?
