NATURE SPARKLES // The sweetest thing about a snowfall after being away from snow for so long is how I was able to experience it with all new senses. The quietness. The slowness of the falling snowflakes. The cold zing on my skin. The morning sparkle.

This trip has been wondrous. To experience our old home, friends, and family. All with the benefit of time, distance, newness, and little ones with completely fresh eyes. It’s been magical.

It’s also been all consuming. Traveling and being with our little family and our big family, I have felt so far away from my work for so long. So long I almost feel disconnected from it for the moment. But in noticing that I know it must be a much needed break. I’m not going to beat myself up about it, I’m just going to take it in. Because I love my women. And I’m excited to be with them once I’m back home in our usual routine. ?
